Shining a light on social inclusion for all adults in Bridlington and the surrounding area
Donating to Bridlington Friends Association (BFA) means that our great work within Bridlington and the surrounding areas continues.
We are a non-profit charity based around social inclusion for all adults, operating on a weekly and/or monthly basis. BFA also put on 3 family events a year for the local community.
Bridlington Friends Association work with all other organisations and charities, within the local areas, supporting their projects, community goals, individuals and have set up referral programs with many different organisations/charities to help combat social exclusion caused through (but not limited to): illness, bereavement, disability, mobility issues, isolation or perhaps individuals are just new to the area.
Everybody is treated equally at BFA and a warm friendly welcome awaits everyone. Every time a person/member walks through our door they are greeted with warmth, a smile, a kind word and help if required.
BFA also have volunteer programs for members to get involved with, to Share Skills, be Group Facilitators, General Volunteers or Meet & Greet. All of our Trustees and Management Committee are volunteers.
BFA is where friendships, vital support networks and sign-posting can be put in place for those who need it. All of our members can also just come along and have fun, laugh and enjoy themselves. We do our best to create opportunities and activities that our members want and/or need.
BFA have put on and will continue to do so, a large program of events throughout the year including: Indoor and Outdoor Activities, Monthly Social Events, Keep Warm Café & Groups, Quiz Nights, Lunches & Meals, Day Trips & Outings, Mini Breaks & Holidays, Local Events Group, Learning Opportunities etc etc….. All of which takes Time and Money.
