The BFA Photographic Competition starts on:
Tuesday the 1st of July 2023
Please can you send all photographs in with your:
- Name
- Membership Number
- Chosen Category and;
- Photograph Title
The Competition closes on:
Monday the 16th of October 2023 – 5pm.
You may enter as many photographs as you like, in one or each category below and feel free to interpret each category, your own unique way.

Local Photographer: Sandra Barber of Sandra Barber Photography will be judging the category’s and will choose finalists and a winner from each category. Sandra will also award an overall winner who will become:
BFA’s Amateur Photographer of the Year
Sandra Barber is a very skilled local photographer who will also be speaking about her work and journey as a photographer ‘Me and My Camera’ at the BFA Photographic Awards Ceremony on Wednesday the 22nd of November –This will be held at Novembers BFA Monthly Social from 1-4pm at the Town Bar, Bridlington.
There will be certificates for finalists, prizes for category winners and an overall winner’s prize. (Plus, an extra couple of awards for outstanding contributions by Members).
