BFA are proud to announce a Brand-New Group:
A Chess Club for Bridlington
A new chess club is to be started in Bridlington as part of Bridlington Friends Association.
The Group will meet at the Church of the Latter-Day Saints on Quay Road, the club day will be every Friday from 3pm until 5.30pm. The start date will be Friday 14th of April 2023.
The club welcomes players of all standards and free lessons will be provided for anyone who wants to learn to play.
The Group Facilitator will be Bruce Oliver who is a very keen chess player and competes in the Hull & District League, Yorkshire league and in National tournaments. Bruce is also the chess coach at New Pasture Lane Primary School.

The Chess Club wishes to thank The Bridlington Friends Association for their support in this venture and a big thank you also to the Hull & District Chess Association for their support and for providing all the chess equipment for the club.
